Evo11/2 !
You may remember this Evo1, advertised on Ebay at the end of July 2016.
It was a 1991 car, described as a pre-production Evo model, apparently used as a prototype test car, and a limited edition of 1!
This Evo is a smart looking European car, fitted with beige Alcantara hi-back seats, these look genuine. Beige carpets are fitted also, with a 3 spoke Momo wheel, and seemingly Evo2 fuel cap surround.
However, the car has black leatherette door cards, and I think a dark roof lining. It also has the warning light panel over the radio and Evo1 rain gutter covers. The wheels fitted look to be aftermarket replacement 15s, with 205 wide tyres.
The car was advertised here on UK Ebay for £31000.00, located in Malvern, by a zero feedback seller. The car was actually in coastal France, so couldn't be checked before any bidding, the UK plates were also obscured, so no HPI check could be made.
I know some people don't live in the UK's lovely North West, but this car is located 1185kms from Manchester.
So all things considered, it was no surprise the car didn't sell.
This Delta is now on sale in France, listed on the Autoscout site, click on the logo to visit the listing, it has an extra picture included of the Walkers sales documents. The service book says 'Replacement book due to being ex-factory car', I can't quite see the starting mileage.
The car is now for sale at 38000 euros, that's £32400ish presently, the price being negotiable, so it's not being given away.
Lovely beige Alcantara seats fitted, they look genuine, with no tip-ups, and little wear. HF just visible on headrest, but black door cards fitted.
Standard engine bay, not too cleaned, nice to have original suspension tops too.
An alarm being the only extra I can see.

READER CONTACT
We've been contacted by a gentleman who tells us this car is heading for the USA.
His name is William, he lives in US, he's bought this Evo1 and is importing it to his country. William says this will be the first legally imported Evo1 in the USA, Evo2s can't be imported until 2018, so this red car is the next best thing!
His red Evo was made in July 1991, William suggests the car was made for display at the International Motor Show in September 1991. He hasn't been able to find any pictures of the Lancia stand in that year, but it does make sense.
William has a beautiful box arch BMW E30 M3, also in red, and has wanted a Delta Evo for many years, the two red cars will make quite a sight!
William has all the details of the red Evo, the car is going over ro-ro, and should be in New York in early October. The LA based Evo2 on Petrolicious is not legally registered, it's on dealer plates. William says other states are more easy going, but legally running an Evo in California will be almost impossible because the car has no factory EGR valve, even if it is a cat model, which it would have to be.
Anyway, we wish William good luck, we'll keep in touch and report on William and the Evo's progress.
